Prague will host its 8th WordCamp on the 27th of February 2021, and our plans are just as ambitious as they were last year, when Prague’s WordCamp became one of the largest in Europe, although this time we will meet online. Because the next year’s WordCamp will be online for the first time and WordPress Central does not financially support online events, we are looking for sponsors that will help us make it happen.
By becoming a sponsor, you get an excellent opportunity to promote your brand and show that you are actively involved in efforts to develop and improve this popular system. Your contribution will also make the visitors‘ conference experience even more fun and memorable. Our events will appeal to those interested in WordPress not only from all over the Czech Republic but also from Slovakia, where, according to the available information, no conferences will be organized in 2021.
Who is the conference for?
Most of our visitors use WordPress professionally – they are mostly developers, designers, consultants, and other users that use WordPress to make a living.
Here is a summary of the questionnaire we sent out after the last year’s conference:
- 84 % of the previous year’s respondents plan to attend the conference again (14 % are unsure)
- 88 % of respondents thought the conference was excellent or very good
- 40 % of respondents use regular web hosting or multiple domain hosting, 26 % use VPS, 18 % use multiple domain hosting, 9% use a dedicated server, and 4 % use a professional cloud service
- 88 % of respondents are freelancers or work for companies involved in website-building
- 77 % of respondents run/administer more than 2 websites
- 80% of respondents evaluate the level of lectures positively
- 72% of respondents appreciated the lectures in English
